EA “will open new ways for fans to play [Anthem] early,” and GTA 5 Online might be getting another Red Dead Redemption 2 crossover.
During an EA earnings report, CEO Andrew Wilson talked about BioWare’s next game, Anthem. He said a bunch of stuff typical of a CEO (“stunning and ambitious,” “something entirely new” for games), but he also mentioned that EA “will open new ways for fans to join the community and play early, enabling [it] to shape and refine the game with their input and feedback.”
While it does sound like some kind of Early Access-style launch for Anthem, Wilson could be referring to pre-release tests. We run down all of the details in today’s episode of GameSpot Daily, but we also have a bunch of other stories (including one on a GTA 5/Red Dead Redemption 2 crossover) coming at you in 30 minutes or less.
